BEN GRACE FILMS
Ben Grace Films is an award-winning director, filmmaker and editor based in Southampton, Hampshire. His short films have been screened internationally at numerous festivals across the globe.
In July 2015 Ben Grace was accepted into Creative England’s South West Talent Module which is part of the BFI NET.WORK that aims to help emerging filmmakers get funding and help for their first feature film.
In January 2016, After Party was picked up for distribution by CryptTV, a LA-based distribution company co-founded by Eli Roth (Hostel) and Jason Blum (Insidious, The Purge, Whiplash). After Party was also shortlisted for the Michael Fuller Award for Best Film at the SFW: Shorts 2014 competition as part of Southampton Film Week. It has also been accepted into the January edition 2015 of TOFF: The Online Film Festival.
In December 2017, Antelope won the Technical Jury Prize (Best Film for the Meglio Matti Che Corti 2017 competition in Modena, Italy, a national competition under the Percorto initiative program promoted by Dipartimento di Salute Mentale e Dipendenze Patologiche (Department of Mental Health and Pathological Addictions) in Italy.
In total, Ben has been nominated for over forty awards across several dozen film festivals, picking up a selection of awards. This includes being accepted into Très Court International Film Festival, Siliguri Internation Film Festival, Southampton Film Week and being a Top 3 Finalist for Shooting People’s Film of the Month.
